I wore the top on its own to a costume party and had to wear a bolero over the top as it doesn\'t really give you good coverage. The collar puffs up a lot so I might need to have stitched down as well as sewn in tighter at the sides. I tried to use magic tape to hold myself into the top, however it just came unstuck during the evening.

Hi I am thinking of buying this dress for my daughter, she loves it, however, I am a bit concerned about the hem-line. The finish in the pictures don\'t look great, the rest of the dress looks fab but the hem looks badly sewn. Can anybody fill me in on their experience with this dress please, as I am undecided about buying it.

The fabric is fabulous
- feels luxe and elegant, and I couldn\'t believe all the compliments I got on it. I ordered a size up because I\'m between sizes, and fit perfectly, so it may run a bit small. This site is a STEAL for clothes - I have also order two other dresses here, one with elaborate lace and beading - and the price and quality are unbelievable.

Hey guys,
I recently received this dress and thought I would inform everyone on the issue with the straps. The dress comes with the straps as they are shown in the photos with the model. In saying this however, you will definitely need to alter them as they are ridiculously short! When I first put the dress on the bust came up and sat just under my neck, now I don\'t know about you guys but that\'s not where mine is!
The lady who has uploaded some photos of herself in this dress has had her straps altered to cross over. I am in the process of altering mine but they will stay in the same position as they came. When I have finished I will be sure to upload them so you can have a look.
While this dress has a small problem with the straps, everything else about it is great! Very high quality dress and professionally made. I also bought a long evening gown from this site and I would definitely buy here again.

I ordered this dress for my daughter and neice to be my bridesmaids in july - i was very apprehensive as to what i might receive.. My wedding was to a chelsea football team theme so the dresses were to be in chelsea blue and my dress was ivory - i carried ivory roses with blue ribbon through and so did the girls.
The dresses arrived and were fabulous - the rich colour and gorgeous material were absolutely wonderful - i couldnt have wished for anything better -
