I posted a review below saying I was very happy with service and delivery. They kept me informed each step and the dress arrived early.
Everyone warned me not to buy a dress over the internet but after looking at many dresses,
I kept coming back to this one.
I\'m glad I did its a very nice fit, its also lined very well! I thought they sent wrong dress at first as it was inside out
and the ultimate when I put it on my daughter got all tearful...so it must be the right one!

I ordered the dress custom size on 10/20 with expedited shipping and got it yesterday 10/28- only took 2 days to ship from China to Boston, and the shipping costs were so reasonable!!
The dress is spectacular- better than in the pictures.
Materials are high quality- my only complaint is that where the beadwork is on the tulle- there are a lot of untrimmed strings- easy enough to fix.
The dress fits me like a glove- I am glad I chose the custom option.
I highly recommend this website.

I ordered this dress on July 16 and received it on August 4th. Once they ship it out, they send you your fedex tracking number Im in the U.S. and you can track it. I tracked mine from Shanghai, to alaska, to new jersey, and then to va. Despite its long journey, it got to me unharmed. This dress is very beautiful. I got it in white with the red sash. The sash is made from a very cheap material.. not exactly sure what it is, but it\'s sewn on very lightly and you could easily switch it for a different one.. I think i\'ll probably switch mine for a velvet one. There aer about 6 layers of tulle. it\'s definitely a princess dress.. It\'s huge! I ordered mine custom tailored and they did a great job. I can\'t wait to wear this. I\'m sorry I\'m not wearing the dress in the photo, but no one was home to help me get it on properly! and yess, the train is long and beautiful :

I had gone to David\'s Bridal & fallen in love with a tea-length dress but my fiance & I were paying for our own weddig so their price range was a bit steap for us a that time so my now mother-in-law found this wonderful website where I had met my match. I usually wear a size 18/20 & tried on a wedding dress size 22 & it fit very well. I ordered this dress in the size 22 & it fit like a glove! I\'m busty so I was affraid it wouldn\'t fit up top but I didn\'t have to add one single stich to the dress. I\'m also only 5\'2\\\" & it was a perfect tea-length, not too long or too short & perfect for our July wedding in the south!
The flowerers were exquisite, the fabric & the ivory color were absolutely gorgeous & it was simply an absolute steal for the price. It was certainly an excellent value, It does need a light slip underneath but I was extremely pleased.

This dress is amazing ! And the price! recommending everyone!

My dress just came in today! Wow....it came so quick! I placed the order on March 5th and today is March 26th....I even had it made custom to my exact measurements! As soon as I received it, I ran to try it on and it fits AMAZINGLY!!!! I am so excited.....This company is so great to work with! I highly recommend them and this dress looks so great in person!

I took a chance and ordered this beautiful dress on 11th June 2010 and it arrived on my doorstep yesterday, 2nd July. Very quick indeed. It really is utterly amazing how they pack so much into such a small box! I ordered this dress and the recommended petticoat, a ring pillow and a garter, total cost ?190. However I also had to pay DHL who delivered the parcel a further ?20.89 for Customs and VAT charges, which I was less than happy about yesterday! I emailed mnbuy about it and read up about it on the internet and discovered that not all parcels get charged for duty and VAT at customs so I’m just unlucky that they checked my parcel and added a charge – it is not a charge that LightBox could have foreseen but it’s worth bearing in mind if you make an order, that you may have to pay a little more for your item when you receive it.

When I opened the ordinary looking brown box, I found it’s covered in pretty roses inside and my dress was perfectly packaged. I opened the petticoat first, thinking ‘I thought this was supposed to be hooped, it’s so small’ and then it popped open into it’s three hoops and it’s HUGE, I can’t for the life of me fold it back up and it really is very big! The dress came inside out to protect the front and it’s just stunning. I ordered it in ivory and it’s gorgeous. I will attach pictures also. I agree with Angel’s review that the little black flowers on the top of the bodice look a bit cheesy/silly and I’ll probably take them off too. The quality of the dress is fantastic – there is no way anyone would think you paid less than ?600, it’s just so well made. The satin is very good quality. I know this because I ordered a dress from China on Ebay from selecting a picture of a dress I liked and got a very poor imitation for my money. The satin on the LightBox dress is a hundred times better than the polyester satin used on the first dress I bought from China on Ebay. The skirt of the dress is very fine netting on top which hangs perfectly over the satin skirt beneath. There are then layers of thick net beneath the satin, to give it it’s shape, and then a lining skirt too. Personally, I won’t be wearing the petticoat as the dress looks much more ethereal without it and is just seriously huge with the petticoat added in. However, if you want to look like a princess and have a large Cinderella style skirt, then the petticoat will be perfect for you as it gives you a really large ball gown shape. To be honest, the petticoat only cost ?17, so it was worth ordering it just to see if I needed it. The satin ribbon on the bodice is sewn really well so that the dress holds it’s shape when you wear it. There is also elastic inside the bodice at the back like a bra strap to hold it in place – very clever. The fit is lovely, slightly too big for me on the bodice but I think that’s more because I measured my chest wrong – you really shouldn’t do it yourself! But the waist and hips are just perfect, and I can definitely take it in slightly on my bust – or get a strapless bra, no problem.

All in all, if you are worried about the quality you will receive from LightBox, don’t be. They are different to other sites that offer to make dresses for you because the pictures of the dresses you are viewing are owned by them – they are their designs, whereas other people are showing you an image of a dress that does not belong to them and making a dress a little bit different to the picture to avoid copyright – trust me, I learnt the hard way and wasted ?100 on a dress that looked nothing like the picture! I’m so happy that I bought this dress, I just can’t wait to wear it on my big day! Hope this review helps you make up your mind. Good luck everyone.xx

My dress came today...it is very pretty but... doesn\'t fit. i am thick too and got it custom made and it is baggy everywhere and goes straight down. so i would suggest getting a smaller size and maybe you will get the hourglass if that is what you are looking for. also i did not get the veil either. and it is not very poufy. the one good thing i can say is it did come on time. I ordered two dressed and both dont fit but i would still recomment the site because it is good quality for a great price,

Are they a bead or embelishment sewn onto the dress, or are they embroidered on?

I absolutely love this dress but they are the only thing putting me off and it\'s hard to see how difficult it would be to unpick them without damaging the fabric.

I custom ordered this dress 9/27/09 and received it today on 10/15/09. I was worried it wouldn\'t make it here for my wedding on 11/14/09 so I purchased the 3-5 day shipping. I gave them my measurements and they followed them perfectly. I am on the taller side so it was nice to just send my measurements and have them take care of everything.


The dress is beautiful. I got it in ivory. It is well made and elegant. It will need to be steamed out before I wear it for sure, but who doesn\'t do that before the big day?

ok, so i now have my dress - very pretty !! very well made - altho a little too big but better than too small ! ordered it on 6/7/10 and recieved it on 24/7/10. there has also been alot of confusion where the sleeves are concerned but i didnt recieve any with mine ?? it has an extra strap around the back to help it fit nicely inside lovely beading detail also.

i had it made to custom fit and being a big girl i suggest to any others to do the same - will def be ordering from this company again - well done MNBUY !!!

What does the trim color include? Is that the split front color AND the flowers? I love this dress but that concerns me.

I just got my dress in today and could not believe how absolutely gorgeous it really is! I was scared ordering online from a picture, and was most impressed with the quality and with the fit. I ordered a size 6, and really expected to have alterations done, to my surprise I will only need to have about an inch taken in around the bust! Very Very satisfied!

Hi All, I got my dress a few weeks ago but only getting round to posting my review now - sorry! So the dress is so well made really good. I got it made to custom measurements and it fits really well - I need to get about an inch and a half taken off at the hips though. I\'m not sure if that\'s an error in the making of the dress or down to the fact that I\'ve starting going to the gym. Either way, it\'s really a small alteration. The other thing that I was worried about is the gather that is in the chiffon just on the inside on the left hip. Mine didn\'t look quite right so I\'m just making that a little bit tighter and then I\'m happy : Seriously though, definitely worth taking the risk and buying on line!



Oh and one last thing - I\'m getting married in December in South Africa so it\'s going to be quite hot! The dress is fairly heavy but I don\'t think it will be unbearable!

Received my dress today! It is most beautifully made! I ordered the standard size 12 after I had tried a wedding gown at a David\'s Bridal store. The dress I received fits almost perfect, except it is too long I am 5\'4\'\' but with a few alterations it will be my perfect spring backyard wedding dress.

Je viens tout juste de recevoir ma robe et elle est simplement sublime. Très beaux matériaux et excellentes finitions. J\'avoue que j\'étais un peu nerveuse à l\'idée de commander ma robe de mariée sur internet, mais là je suis vraiment agréablement surprise! Je l\'ai faite faire sur mesure et c\'est parfait. Surtout que je ne suis pas très grande 1m58, elle ira très bien avec des chaussures à très hauts talons. Et pour celles qui sont comme moi et n\'ont pas de poitrine, le corset est très bien fait et donne un très joli buste. Je recommande vivement!

I have not worn my dress at my wedding yet, but I have tried it on numerous times. I love it, it fits perfectly, the bows are so cute, the feel is silky and wonderful. The bows do need to be ironed down or something because of the packaging it came in. And it took a lot longer then i expected to get my dress in the mail, i didn\'t think i was even going to receive it. But i did after about 2 months or so. Other then those things, the dress is too wonderful to be this cheap of a price, its an awesome buy. Loved it!!

I am very happy today as I\'ve got my wedding dress! I am so pleased, it looks wonderful, just as I imagined it wil be. Besides it came in a very short time it took 5 days to arrive from China to Romania .

I ordered this dress as a size 10 UK without giving measurements so I was a little nervous about the fitting, the dress came within 3 weeks exactly and I couldn\'t wait to try it on. I took the dress to my sister\'s as i was convinced that it would need altering and I needed help to get it on. It was a perfect fit, the length, the bodice, everything. Everyone told me how beautiful the dress was on the day. I am moving to Brazil with my husband next year and we are having a blessing there with all of his family as they didn\'t attend ours in London. I am tempted to wear it again as it seems a shame that such
abeautiful dress should only be worn once!
there were no issues with the delivery however you do need to pay the customs charge on delivery.

I have a question to anyone who\'s purchased a dress here. Do you have the option to have them change the zipper closure in the back? If I wanted a lace up back instead of a zipper, is it possible to have them do it that way?



If not, does anyone have an idea of how much it\'d be to get that altered to have it be a lace up back instead of zipper?

The dress is gorgeous - simple but very beautiful! I had the dress custom made, and it fits perfectly. Lenght is a bit too much, but that is easy to fix. I received the dress in 3 weeks from my order date to Northern Europe. Very very satisfied!

At first I was a little nervous purchasing a wedding dress over the internet especially from China but when I recieved it my thoughts completely changed.



Before I placed the order I went to Nordstroms to get my measurements and ordered the dress based on those numbers.



Two weeks later I recieved my dress. I am very impressed with the shipping, I thought it would take 6 weeks but it was less than that. I got a chance to try it on this morning and it is gorgeous. This dress is perfect, classy and very sophisticated. I can\'t wait to wear it and show all my friends and family.
