Firstly let me say that I am VERY impressed but I did want to get some things clarified, it is a wedding dress after all =o
FIRSTLY:
In one of the replys you have posted you have stated that the ribbon can not be removed and in another you have said that it can.
Can you please clarify, and if not, why not? Its just a ribbon surely we can buy it with the ribbon included but not attached. Can the ribbon be placed lower rather than round the waist can it go around the hips between the bodice and the skirt?
SECONDLY:
There appears to be some differences in the dresses.
- Some have a sweetheart neck and some dont
- Some have the bodice forming a v into the skirt and some dont.
Can you please confirm if these are these things that need to be specified when ordered or is it just by chance?

I am still nervously awaiting my order. I read in other reviews that the flower is lower and smaller and that the material of the train is different. I am looking forward to receiving what I see pictured here. The quality of the dress in the picture looks higher quality than the pictures from the reviews. Even the train looks alot fuller and more beautiful on the model. Who do I speak with to ensure that my order is in the same quality as the model dress pictured? Also...Is the model wearing a sort of petti coat underneath the dress? I have contacted customer service reps via your store chat...but just receive a answer \'please take a chance\'...sounds good but not quite enough info for a bride. Once I receive my item I will provide a review here as well as my own review blog to note my experiences fairly...whether good or bad.

I got my dress yesterday! it is very beautiful however I do have some issues with the dress. I ordered it customized and got my measurements done professionally at a local bridal shop. When I tried on the dress, the bust was too big, the waist was too small and the length was too short. I have to get it altered to have it fit me because it feels like it is going to fall off. I will have to get it steamed as well because it came very wrinkled. I am a little disappointed because from all of the reviews everyone said that it was fit perfectly for them but this wasnt the case for me. If someone is to do this please make sure you where the height of the heels you want to wear because now with heels the dress is way too short for me. The dress is beautiful though and it was quick also especially for the price. I think once I get the alterations done I will be happy with the dress.

LIB is very professional, they emailed me when they got my order, when they start tailoring and when they posted the dress. It looks exactly like the picture. FYI - you need to messure hollow from neck till floor with your hills on and that what I did and it came with a perfect length. Its a good buy and I will definitely recommand to everyone I know. When I had placed my order with MNBUY on this dress there was a different pic.
But when I noticed the difference before I got the dress they were very understanding.
It wasnt the dress I ordered but the dress was very pretty.
My fiance\' wanted me to keep it ! IBut it didnt fit either. I liked the way the back came off and on. Would be great for a ball. They offerd to change sizes but I really wanted to find the other dress.

I stumbled upon this website while looking for a dress and was blown away by the choices and prices! Of course I was nervous ordering for a website for such an important dress, but Angela\'s pictures helped me feel better.
It took longer than I expected to arrive, but I did do a custom size. I did not like the center sparkly things, so I had those removed and also changed the bust line a little. Afterwards, the dress was perfect! Ladies, it\'s a squeezer so if you are planning to stay in it while dancing, give yourselves a bit of extra room I changed because it was not possible for me.
I used to be a wedding planner for platinum weddings, so my expectations were high. After a few tweaks, the dress was exactly what I wanted and I received many comments on how sophisticated it looked --by other wedding planners! I love this website and plan to use it again for party dresses!

Like most people I think, I was a litte anxious about ordering a wedding dress online however the dress arrived today and I receved such a shock.



It is truly the equal of many more expensive dresses I have seen ?1500 + and vastly superior to the majority. The needlework is just perfect my mother is an skilled seamstress herself so I have learned to appreciate these things and the attention to detail is outstanding. I have passed on the website to other future brides and would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anybody.



The only down side i can see relates to something which is in no way a fault with the dress. i have a larger than average cup size DD and the standard sizes do not take that into account, my own fault really, I should have realised

i saw this dress and never looked at another.it arrived really quickly and i couldnt wait to put it on.even when i lost weight my mum altered it and it was still perfect. it made me feel like a princess and it was really comfy.

I am getting married on the 23rd October Tekuiti, New Zealand.
About 5 months ago I started to look for the wedding dress and thought that i would view the net as my first point of contact as you do I always wanted a black and white wedding dress so I knew what I wanted!
The first dress they came up onto my screen was the A-line-Strapless-Cathedral-Train-Satin-Wedding-Dress.
Even though it has the red trim in the photo I could see that with Black trim it would be a stunning dress and it was very much me, I could picture what it would look like.
From that day onwards I stopped looking and just raved about the dress to everyone.
The time came to order the dress and I was extremely nervous, made the payment and it was only a matter of time that my prefect dress would turn up.
I had the dress delivered to my work and when I took it out of the box it was simply breathtaking!
It was prefect, gorgeous and beautiful.
The finished product is a real credit to The Lightning Box people.
I don’t want to wear it it\'s that gorgeous lol, I put it on and it fitted like a glove and looked amazing to boot.

This dress is so gorgeous, the measurements are exact I ordered a UK10 and everyone said how stunning I looked for our wedding...made me feel the belle of the ball!!! Take a look at the pictures to see the quality and fit, I would recommend MNBUY to all my friends and family. The only thing was that I had to rmove the rose on the shoulder strap as I am a small person and it drowned me a bit...a taller person wouod have been able to carry it off.

I planned a last minute wedding and I needed a dress in less than a months. All of the dresses I found in town Mermaid style were 800 bucks plus waitng time. I took what I thought was a risk and ordered my dress intending on cutting the shoulder straps off the dress once I got it. This picture does not do this dress justice. The sleves looked amazing and I ended up keepin them on. The dress has tons of silver and light golden beads and pearls. With the back being a corset not much was done to it at the seamstress which cost more than the dress!. You will LOVE this dress, I am a 36DD and normally wear a 31 in jeans, I ordered a size 14 and it fit great. I had NO cleavage showing which was great as this dress had a higher chest line. I bought this dress a few months ago and I too am \\\"vertically challenged :D
I am 5\'1\\\" and I ordered this dress with custom sizing. The dress is gorgeous and aside from needing the straps shortened and maybe a little taken in around the bust since I did overestimate my sizing by a couple inches to consider the winter weight and wedding is not until June 2011.

ok, so THANK GOD my friend had already ordered a dress from here for her wedding and was able to \\\"vouch\\\" for this site and their quality. I was all set to order from one of the competitor\'s site the \\\"imposter\\\" sites, apparently but was nervous because they had VERY few reviews there.



So about mnbuy.com I can confidently say they are AWESOME. You always hear \\\"if it sounds to good to be true it usually is\\\" and I was warned by may that if the dresses were this cheap there \\\"must be something wrong with them.\\\" I can say, NOPE and NOPE. I ordered my dresses yes, ES. At this price I ordered a ceremony AND a reception dress on Friday, May 28th, think I finalized the oder around 9:30 pm. I recieved them yesterday June 10th. Amazing!



So about this dress specifically. It is kind of hard to imagine as Ivory because of the colors of the sample photographed, so I photoshopped it see photo before ordering. I read alot about the dresses being a little big in the bust, so I took a chance and ordered a size DOWN. a 6. Risky, I know I am sooo glad to report that while snug, it fits! Pretty sure I would have had it taken in if I had ordered the 8. So I think even after I drop a few lbs, it will still fit without having to be altered. The only thing I will need to do unless I wear reeeealy high platform heels is take about 3-5\\\" off the length. I am fairly short though 5\'4\\\" so you tall gals should be fine.

The satin they use is as advertised, it is a nice heavyweight beautiful \\\"bridal\\\" satin. It isn\'t thing or cheap looking AT ALL it is seriously like what you\'d get from David\'s, Alfred Angelo, most designer boutiques, etc. The tulle is also nice and fairly soft not like the scratchy vintage tulle AND all of the dresses are FULLY lined, so your legs will never have to feel the tulle and pantyhose, if worn, won\'t snag on it.

I personally don\'t feel like this dress needs any more petticoats or a hoop skirt, but I guess that\'s up to you. It already has like 3 layers under the satin.



A couple things to note:

1. The sash shown is sewn into the dress!

It isn\'t pictured this way, but it is. not a big deal, but I was considering using a colored sash, so it just slightly complicated things I can remove the bow and tie another sash over the existing if I reeeeeally think I need/want it.



2. The black flower\'s on the top of the bodice are really cheezy and look a little cheap. I will totally be removing them but then, I knew this before I even ordered. They are strange, and look out of place. But then, they did on the original Vera as well.



oh, and shipping/packaging. It\'ll arrive in a smaller box than you\'d think. However, they are packing genius\'s, the dresses come out with very few wrinkles. I ordered 2 dresses, a veil, a shrug, hairpins, headband, and a feather headpiece thing and it shipped in a box approx 20\\\" x 12\\\" 12\\\".

The shipping was ridiculously fast. It shipped either Mon the 7th or Tues the 8th says one thing one place, another another place and arrive the 10th. SERIOUSLY.

Now I can\'t say that is always goes down like this, but it did for me!



They sent me a nice pink garmet pag too. Overall I am completely satisfied with the quality and fit of this dress. If it weren\'t so damn expensive to ship, I\'d order from them all the time!



An amazing Vera Wangish for less than $250 shipped in 2 weeks, that everyone will think was $1-$2K+. Yes please!

IF I WOULD NOT KNOW BETTER I WOULD EXPECT THIS DRESS TO COST 3000 DOLLARS!
I was really scared to order something as important as my wedding dress on the internet but: THE DRESS LOOKS BETTER THAN ON THE PICTURES!!!
Here some advices for other brides:
I will not use the little bolero as it is too small and I prefer gloves.
Perfect colour match with Lycra Elbow with Applique Wedding Glove WAGL003 Item ID #00051936 when both in ivory!
Colour:
I ordered it in ivory and that looks very elegant!
If you check the colour chart I would say the real colour of this ivory is a bit lighter than matte satin and a bit darker than silk like satin!
Fit:
I ordered custom fit and it fits almost perfect. The waist could be one inch less material but if my bridemaids pull the strings in the back as tight as they can it will be perfect :-
Shape:
It is NOT sweetheart but straight cut!!!
And: it does need a petticoat!!! Otherwise it is too long and also the shape asks for some hoops to support it and make it possible to see all that beautiful details!!!
I will order the 3 Bone Hoop Tulle Wedding Petticoat HSFJ136 Item ID #00021701 and hope it will fit! Can anyone tell me if that is the right choice???
