I took a chance and ordered this beautiful dress on 11th June 2010 and it arrived on my doorstep yesterday, 2nd July. Very quick indeed. It really is utterly amazing how they pack so much into such a small box! I ordered this dress and the recommended petticoat, a ring pillow and a garter, total cost ?190. However I also had to pay DHL who delivered the parcel a further ?20.89 for Customs and VAT charges, which I was less than happy about yesterday! I emailed mnbuy about it and read up about it on the internet and discovered that not all parcels get charged for duty and VAT at customs so I’m just unlucky that they checked my parcel and added a charge – it is not a charge that LightBox could have foreseen but it’s worth bearing in mind if you make an order, that you may have to pay a little more for your item when you receive it.

When I opened the ordinary looking brown box, I found it’s covered in pretty roses inside and my dress was perfectly packaged. I opened the petticoat first, thinking ‘I thought this was supposed to be hooped, it’s so small’ and then it popped open into it’s three hoops and it’s HUGE, I can’t for the life of me fold it back up and it really is very big! The dress came inside out to protect the front and it’s just stunning. I ordered it in ivory and it’s gorgeous. I will attach pictures also. I agree with Angel’s review that the little black flowers on the top of the bodice look a bit cheesy/silly and I’ll probably take them off too. The quality of the dress is fantastic – there is no way anyone would think you paid less than ?600, it’s just so well made. The satin is very good quality. I know this because I ordered a dress from China on Ebay from selecting a picture of a dress I liked and got a very poor imitation for my money. The satin on the LightBox dress is a hundred times better than the polyester satin used on the first dress I bought from China on Ebay. The skirt of the dress is very fine netting on top which hangs perfectly over the satin skirt beneath. There are then layers of thick net beneath the satin, to give it it’s shape, and then a lining skirt too. Personally, I won’t be wearing the petticoat as the dress looks much more ethereal without it and is just seriously huge with the petticoat added in. However, if you want to look like a princess and have a large Cinderella style skirt, then the petticoat will be perfect for you as it gives you a really large ball gown shape. To be honest, the petticoat only cost ?17, so it was worth ordering it just to see if I needed it. The satin ribbon on the bodice is sewn really well so that the dress holds it’s shape when you wear it. There is also elastic inside the bodice at the back like a bra strap to hold it in place – very clever. The fit is lovely, slightly too big for me on the bodice but I think that’s more because I measured my chest wrong – you really shouldn’t do it yourself! But the waist and hips are just perfect, and I can definitely take it in slightly on my bust – or get a strapless bra, no problem.

All in all, if you are worried about the quality you will receive from LightBox, don’t be. They are different to other sites that offer to make dresses for you because the pictures of the dresses you are viewing are owned by them – they are their designs, whereas other people are showing you an image of a dress that does not belong to them and making a dress a little bit different to the picture to avoid copyright – trust me, I learnt the hard way and wasted ?100 on a dress that looked nothing like the picture! I’m so happy that I bought this dress, I just can’t wait to wear it on my big day! Hope this review helps you make up your mind. Good luck everyone.xx

This dress is exquisite! I received it in a timely manner. I do recommend that one supply exact measurements in ordering because although I was close I still had to have some alterations made in the waist. But I got so many compliments on the dress and photographed beautifully in it. I will definitely order from mnbuy again.

The dress came and I am so excited i took the chance to buy it. You will need it steamed once you get it. i also need a front pannel put in because there is nothing in the front middle, just little strings holding it together that look like they will break. For the price and the extra money i am putting into it i still think it is worth it and beautiful!

Whe I saw this dress, I thought it has flowers, trendy flowers on the top.When my dress arrived it had lace on the top and at first I thought I wanted something different but now Im in love with my dress. The train in the back it not too long it\'s perfect. Heads up I was worried that it wouldn\'t fit and ordered it a size bigger.Dont do that unless you want to take it in a bunch.

I Ordered the 16w when I am a 16 and ended up taking 6 inches in! So I think the size chart is a little off. All in all im happy with my dress, and ladies you also get a 3 tier veil. The first tier was a little much so I cut off the first one and it\'s so beauitful!

I ordered this dress on may 30 and recieved it mid july, so it took just about what they said it would.
I didnt order the dress to my measurments because in the dress shops I was fitting very well in a 6.
The dress fit when i got it but gave me absolutly no shape.
I\'m 5\'9\' and it is the perfect length but the lace seems really high around my waist.
On the model, the bottom of the lace looks like it is about at her hips and the bottom of the lace on me is at my waist.
Also the lining is attached to the dress but only at the hem so it needs to be sewn to the dress so it wont be seen.
my last complaint is that the lace is very different than the pic.
My dress is currently being altered.
I will put a pic up after my wedding in Nov.

El vestido tiene una confección y un género de buena calidad. Está todo forrado y lleva un ajuste a la altura del pecho para que no sientas incomodidad y pueda resbalar hacia abajo. Buenos acabados, aunque la chaqueta a mi me ha quedado grande y la he tenido que arreglar en una modista.
Es muy curioso cuando recibes el paquete porque es del tama?o de una caja de zapatos y parece increible que tu vestido de novia venga ahí dentro, pero si. Hay que darle un poco de plancha y ya está.
Los zapatos me los he cogido a conjunto porque aquí no encontraba zapatos de novia tan blancos a conjunto con el raso del vestido y en cambio en esta página los hay para escojer!! todo fantástico. Sobretodo: las calidades, el precio, lo rápido que llegan los paquetes y que las imágenes que hay en el página es realmente lo que recibes.

Sorry I should\'ve mentioned this before, I measured hollow to floor 53 inches but it\'s longer than that, and I would\'ve had to alterate it but I\'m planning to wear heels.
So maybe take off 2-3 inches of what you measure to get it right.

The colour I ordered is ivory. It looks lighter than I would expect ivory but it looks like the official pictures and my gloves - also ordered in ivory - are the same and therefore it fits perfectly and I think this is the perfect colour for this dress!
I only need to add a petticoat what I already expected cause without it is too long and the shape also asks for a petticoat. Planning to order the Nylon Floor Length Wedding Petticoat WAP 009 Item ID # 00051951 to make it perfect.

I reviewed this over a year ago when I first ordered it. I have now had my wedding day and had so many people comment on my dress because it stands out from the \'traditional\' wedding dress. I just received my dress yesterday and it truly is beautiful!
I bought the ivory one with matching shoes. Can?t wait for the big day!
All in all it took about three weeks to get my order and I live in Sweden :

Like most people looking to order dresses from these websites, I was a little reluctant because I was unsure of the quality. However, I must say that while my dress has its issues, it is mostly perfect.
There were a few little things wrong: the first being that the hem did not come down to the floor when I put the dress on. I ended up with an assymetrical hem which looks neat, but wasn\'t what I wanted when I ordered the dress. Secondly, the dress has a stain right over my left breast, which means I need to have my dress cleaned before I wear it, not just steamed and pressed. This is unfortunately going to cost me nearly as much as the dress did, total. Finally, the hooks that hold the halter together had to be replaced, they were too weak to trust.
On the plus side however, the dress fit like a dream, barely needing any modification at all. The satin is extremely thick, which is fantastic for wearing shapewear underneath it. I\'m wearing a black corset under it, and there\'s not a hint of it through the dress. The embroidery is absolutely exquisite, and the colour matched what was in my head perfectly.
Overall I would most definitely suggest this site and this dress, though I suggest that you add a couple of inches to your hollow-to-hem measurements.

Hi guys I ordered the dress and it arrived 2 weekss later, I am very happy with the dress it does not look cheap at all it is made very well and fits like a glove!!! I ordered a US size 6 as I am a UK 10 and it fits fantastic!!!
The bodice is excatly how it looks in the picture, however the product description states that the pictured dress is wearing a lilac belt and lilic netting.
I wanted the dress excatly how it is in the picture so i ordered the same colours as the descripption stated the pictured dress was however the netting is very very lilac i am still happy with it but just beware it is more lilac then pictured it almost looks light pink in the picture.
Last thing to note is on delivery you have to pay import tax and import vat before UPS hand you the package.
Overall i am very impressed with the dress.
I am getting married mid feb after the day i shall post pictures of me wearing the dress.

We were a little hesitant to order, but the price was incredible, so we took the chance. We didn\'t realize the dress was made to order and we could have submitted her measurements, so we choose a standard size. The dress came within the time stated and it was beautiful! We are very pleased with the dress. We wish we had sent in measurements, because we did have to alter it some, but she is going to be a lovely bride. We turned around and ordered her veil from mnbuy.com as we were so pleased.

I ordered my dress to measure, because apparently it is not normal to have the same measurements on your breasts as around your hips and it fit me lovely, except from the bit on top, where your breasts come in towards the collar bone, where it was too wide for me. The alteration is very low price though and I can only recommend it. It is very difficult to find a dress without train even on this site on the high street and a summer wedding in england does not guarantee nice weather by far, so thanks for making my wedding day that little bit more special by providing me with a dress that makes me look slimmer and more tanned than I really am. The only tiny little niggle I had with the dress was that there were a number of threads from the embroidery sticking out from the dress, I snipped them all off though and the beads did not fall off.

Received the dress just as advised- within 3 weeks!
I agree with the other comments- there are a number of loose threads, and the wrap is a little tacky.
It is also very small for the size of the dress.
Don\'t think I will be able to use it.
Apart from that it is beautifully made for the price and it was well delivered.
I am very happy with it and thank mnbuy for the service.
This took the stress out of wedding dress shopping!
